We do this because we’ve been on the other side of the table.
MediCation Tours was started in 2014 by Jacqui, an Auckland-based registered nurse who had been working alongside international plastic surgeons and saw firsthand how stressful — and how rewarding — medical tourism can be.
The first client was a friend who had been quoted NZ$22,000 for a breast augmentation at home and NZ$8,500 overseas. Jacqui coordinated everything end-to-end, the surgery went well, and the friend referred her cousin, who referred her colleague, and so on.
Eleven years later, we are still a small team. We coordinate around 80–100 procedures per year, each one personally managed by Jacqui in Auckland and Petch (Bangkok) or Mai (Ho Chi Minh City) on the ground.
RN, BN. Registered nurse, founded MediCation Tours in 2014. Lives in Auckland, visits the surgeons in Thailand and Vietnam annually.
What we will always do — and what we won’t.
We will
- •Tell you honestly if a procedure isn’t right for you.
- •Match you with the surgeon whose work and personality suit your goals.
- •Give you a fixed-price written quote before you pay anything.
- •Stay reachable for 12 months after you get home.
We won’t
- •Match you with a surgeon we haven’t personally vetted.
- •Add you to a mailing list or pressure you to book.
- •Quote a lowball figure that balloons once you arrive.
- •Take commission from the surgeon — our fee is paid by you, disclosed upfront.
A 30-minute call. No pressure, no commitment.
Tell Jacqui what you have in mind. You'll get an honest answer, even if the answer is to wait, or to look at a different procedure.
You won’t be added to a mailing list. Replies within one business day.
